Founded in 1996, SEE-LA is the largest mission-driven operator of farmers’ markets in Southern California and a leader in improving food access and nutrition education.
Our markets are a primary venue for nutrition assistance programs in Los Angeles County — SNAP/Calfresh, WIC, and Market Match. Last year SEE-LA markets doubled the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables for 18,059 low-income families.
Our extensive nutrition education programs reach more than 50,000 students in Title 1 LAUSD schools and thousands more adults who attend hundreds of bilingual, interactive SEE-LA cooking demonstration classes each year.
Your tax-deductible contribution helps build sustainable food systems, connects low-income Angelenos to fresh, affordable produce, and supports California family farms and local small businesses.
If you’re 70.5 or older, consider making a tax deductible Qualified Charitable Distribution to SEE-LA from your IRA. Here’s how.
