"It's really just a blessing to have this back in our community. We've got fresh produce in an area that does not have very many grocery stores to provide those nutrients for our community"

– ABC News

Watts Willowbrook Farmers’ Market at MLK Campus (formerly known as the MLK Campus Farmers’ Market) runs every Wednesday from 9am - 2pm at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Outpatient Center on the MLK Campus.

The market proudly accepts CalFresh EBT and WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks. Additionally, the Market Match program, with support from the Ecology Center and the California Nutrition Incentive Program (CNIP) fund, along with funding from Los Angeles County, doubles CalFresh benefits up to $25 per day.

In addition to bringing fresh, seasonal produce options to South Los Angeles, Watts Willowbrook Farmers’ Market serves as a community hub for local nonprofits and groups to share their resources, and hosts free nutrition classes through Pompea Smith Good Cooking/Buena Cocina Nutrition Education Program, in addition to special programming in partnership with the MLK Outpatient Center.

Parking Information:

The market is situated in parking Lot E of the Martin Luther King Jr. Outpatient Center at the intersection of Compton Avenue and 120th Street. Nearby transportation options include Metro Transit Lines 50, 53 & 120, LADOT Dash Transit Line 5, and The Link - Willowbrook shuttle.
